Solution Overview & Benefits

The FTS‑6 Mobile is a miniaturized fetal and maternal monitoring system designed to function in clinical environments and during home visits. It includes a wireless ultrasound transducer, enabling freedom of movement for expectant mothers, and integrates with a tablet-based interface that connects to cloud or hospital systems for centralized data analysis and storage. The kit comes with a wearable belt, ultrasound gel, and auxiliary components for quick turnaround in community settings.

Key benefits:

  • Enables real-time fetal heart rate (FHR) and uterine contraction (TOCO) tracking
  • Supports hospital-grade algorithms (CTG and NICHD analysis) for clear clinical insights
  • Warning alerts and analytics support informed intervention
  • Portable and wireless, ideal for clinics, ambulances, or home visits
  • Cloud-connectivity allows remote review, centralized management, and secure data storage
History & Development

Developed by Edan, a global medical technology provider, the FTS‑6 Mobile ushers fetal monitoring into a new era of portability and digital integration. It retains the trusted features of hospital fetal monitoring systems while enabling mobility and remote access, thanks to its wireless probes and cloud connectivity.
