The platform also includes "Ask a Teacher," a feature that lets users pose academic questions and receive support from qualified educators. Parents and teachers can track performance through dashboards.

Eneza reaches millions of learners through basic feature phones and low-bandwidth web access, making it a scalable solution for improving learning outcomes in underserved areas.

History & Development

Eneza was founded in Kenya in 2011 by teachers and technologists aiming to bridge the education gap in marginalized communities. Initially launched as MPrep, the platform was rebranded to Eneza (Swahili for "to spread") and expanded to more countries in Africa.

Over the years, Eneza has partnered with telecom companies, NGOs, and ministries of education to expand access and localize content. Their model has proven effective during school closures and emergencies, with millions of learners using the platform during the COVID-19 pandemic.
