History & Development
Ari was developed by Munira Twahir and her team at Inteco Kenya to address the challenges of menstrual product accessibility and distribution in underserved regions. Recognizing issues such as supply shortages, lack of privacy, and inadequate data for program evaluation, they created a solution that combines technology with user-centric design.
The innovation leverages Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing technologies to monitor and manage pad distribution effectively.
