History & Development
YODD’s original concept emerged in response to the immediate challenges faced by Ukrainians during the full-scale invasion, where access to traditional healthcare facilities was compromised.
By enabling real-time remote diagnostics, the device aimed to bridge healthcare gaps in conflict-affected regions. However, the underlying technology and user-friendly design have much broader applicability.
Far beyond Ukraine, YODD has the potential to enhance remote care worldwide, improving healthcare access for diverse communities and settings where in-person consultations are difficult or inaccessible.
