VentilAid

Solution Overview & Benefits

Ventilaid is an open-source, low-cost ventilator designed to help individuals during respiratory crises, particularly in response to equipment shortages. It can be 3D printed, assembled with easily accessible components, and operates without needing high-end manufacturing facilities. This makes it an accessible option for areas with limited medical resources. The open-source license allows for free use and modification of the design by anyone.

  • This is a Pressure Regulated Volume Control (PRVC) device.

  • Pressure up to 15 cm H2O (with a greater technical capability of up to 30cm H2O)
History & Development

VentilAid is an open-source ventilator of last resort developed by a group of Polish volunteers. The latest prototype is the third model called MK III.
