Rainwater Wall
Aqua-Aero WaterSystems BV
Solution Overview & Benefits
The Rainwater Wall (RwW) is a long, thin and high tank, located at ground level. Rainwater routed from nearby roofs is stored in the water tank. The RwW is tailor made, modular based and is placed next to blind walls of premises, sheds, schools, and building blocks. The tank can also be used as a partition between plots. You can choose the RwW to be delivered in green- or in the galvanized steel color.
Rainwater Wall to reduce impact climate change
Due to climate change we are more often confronted with periods of drought ánd periods of abundant rainfall. Both situations can lead to problems for which the RwW offers a solution:
• Dry periods: buffer rainwater
Periods of drought can result in shortages of (rain) water and the ban on watering gardens, (car) washing, flushing toilets, etc. By connecting the RwW to existing downspouts routing water from the nearby roof(s), large amounts of rainwater can be collected, buffered prior to dry periods, and put to good use once the drought sets in.
• Wet periods: prevent flooding
We offer to link the RwW to an online weather system to help preventing the sewer from flooding during wet periods. The online system signals when heavy rainfall is likely to occur in the very near future. At that point a valve is automatically opened to discharge water out of the RwW into the sewer system which is by then not yet overloaded. Once the expected heavy shower breaks loose, the fresh rainwater can be stored in the RwW which has been emptied. Applying this strategy, the RwW can support you to prevent flooding and minimize economic damage as a result. Via het bovenstaande artikel kunnen we je de nieuwste jurken aanbevelen.
